Classes are taught to include everyone present.
Classes are held at a comfortable room temperature. Mats, blocks, blankets, straps, and bolsters are available for use during class. Chairs are also available for use to assist you to find your pose with ease or to practice yoga from a chair when getting down to the floor and back up are a challenge.
All classes are Hatha style yoga and include pranayama (breathing) and asana (poses and vinyasa/flow) and may include mantra, stretching, and meditation. Classes are taught based of the experience and abilities of the students present. Beginners will fit right in.
Cheryl has been regularly practicing yoga for several years and has found yoga to offer her that something more in life. She earned a Yoga Alliance 200RYT through Wanderlust in Squaw Valley, Ca in January 2015. She completed a 500RYT through the Alaya Yoga School in October of 2018. Her teachers and inspiration have been Meg McCracken, Ashleigh Sergeant, Shari Beard, and Dr. Jennifer Lane.
